BAREFOOT JOE is a country music artist and songwriter from Virginia with a modern soulful country sound.

BAREFOOT JOE has opened for a number of artists including Drew Baldridge, John Rich, Old Dominion, Michael Ray, Brett Young, Ray Scott, Tony Jackson, Southerland, and Confederate Railroad.

BAREFOOT JOE has been writing and recording music for nearly 20 years.  He has worked with a wide variety of writers, producers, and artists, including Clarence Jey (Tenntones Inc.), Joshua Thompson (J Records), Danny Kensy, Dakota Jay (Rad Records), and Corey Lee Barker. After taking a hiatus from music for several years, BAREFOOT JOE began writing again and fell in love with country music! In 2020, BAREFOOT recorded his first country song in Nashville called Play a Slow One. This marked the beginning of his country music songwriting/artist journey.

In 2023, BAREFOOT JOE released his debut, self-titled album, Barefoot Joe, which included the fan-favorite Stapleton-like country ballad, Just Plain Crazy! Just Plain Crazy maintained a steady climb on the Music Row radio charts for nearly a year, topping off in the top 100 (82)!

BAREFOOT JOE has recorded his follow-up album and has begun releasing it as singles, beginning with Getting Serious and the summer time anthem Get a Little Beached in 2024.

BAREFOOT JOE’S new single, ‘Don’t Die Truck’ was recently released on 2/28/25.

Inspired by his own aging Ford F150, Barefoot Joe wrote 'Don't Die Truck' about a country boy who is on a journey to see his girlfriend in the city; the only problem is that his old truck has other plans. It has been featured on All Country News, Holler. Academy of Country Music, among many others.
